Den Haag
The Hague is located 56 km south-west of Amsterdam. Holland’s Royal City has a rich history and tradition.
It never fails to impress visitors with its elegant atmosphere,
broad tree lined avenues, boutiques, castles and of course
the Dutch Parliament. The Hague is a great place for a holiday,
with its many swinging and cultural events is it a pleasure
to visit the town or close resorts of Scheveningen and
Kijkduin.
The Hague has a number of attractions
of which the Mauritshuis and the Gemeentenmuseum are
the most famous. Vredespaleis (The Peace Palace), home to the International
Court of Jusice which has been formed here in 1946. It has
the largest international law library in the world.
